Haigakura manga (ハイガクラ) is created by Shinobu Takayama. It first appeared in Ichijinsha’s Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine on January 16, 2008. After the magazine stopped publishing on May 16, 2015, Haigakura moved to the Zero-Sum Online website. As of August 24, 2023, sixteen volumes have been released. By August 2023, Haigakura comic had over 1.3 million copies in circulation.

Haigakura anime TV series was announced on August 24, 2023. The anime is being produced by Typhoon Graphics, directed by Junichi Yamamoto, with Yū Murai in charge of the series composition, Masaki Satō as the character designer, and Yuki Kurihara composing the music. The anime is set to premiere in late 2024.
